TRAINING SERVICES
On-the-Job Training (OJT)
When an employer needs to fill a vacant position, they often have the choice of hiring a skilled worker or a worker who is a good fit but needs technical training to function fully in the role. If the employer is willing to hire an individual who has limited experience, an On-the-Job Training contract can reimburse up to 50% of the new hire's wages during a specified training period to offset the extraordinary cost of training. The employer must agree to retain the employee upon successful completion of the training. If you are an interested employer, please see

If you are an interested employer, please print and review the Guidelines then download the PDF fillable Pre-Application form for the Incumbent Worker Application and email it as an attachment to setworks@sedev.org.
